Vladimir Putin reviewed video presentations on AvtoVAZ operations, alongside the transformation of the plant’s production system and its digitalisation.
AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov showed the President a prototype of Lada Iskra. This vehicle is built on a new high-tech platform and is available in three body styles: sedan, station wagon, and a crossover version of the station wagon. The launch of serial production is scheduled for April 2025.
The President was also shown other promising models manufactured by the plant, including the e-Niva all-wheel-drive electric vehicle, mock-ups of B+ Cross and T-134 new urban crossovers, and the B-Van minivan.
The President engaged in a brief conversation with employees of the enterprise.
