The meeting participants reviewed the foundation’s work since the launch of its regional branches starting June 1, 2023, and discussed the most frequently asked questions coming from the charges and ways of solving them.
Since their launch, the foundation’s branches have received over 173,000 appeals. Social support has been provided to more than 21,000 veterans of the special military operation; 12,000 fighters have received monetary payments, and 5,600 have been provided assistance in obtaining combat veteran ID cards. Legal aid has been offered to 13,500 veterans; 7,000 veterans have received discounts on housing and utility fees; 5,600 veterans have been offered assistance in getting medical aid, while 5,700 veterans have received psychological aid.
The meeting participants also discussed the issues of prosthetic care and provision of technical means for rehabilitation, as well as medical rehabilitation and psychological counselling.
