“The oldest branch of Russia’s Armed Forces, the Ground Forces have a long and heroic history. Our people will never forget the selflessness, valour and courage demonstrated by many generations of our soldiers and officers during the battles for the freedom and independence of our Motherland, which will always be a part of our military history.
It is noteworthy that the current soldiers and officers of the Ground Forces take their lead from the patriotic and victorious traditions of their predecessors and veterans, emulating their loyalty to their oath, duty and combat brotherhood. This helps them fulfil challenging missions during the special military operation, in defending the national borders and in other vital strategic areas.
I have no doubt that you will never fail us, and that you will always safeguard our national interests and the sovereignty and security of our country.”
