For mass heroism and valour, endurance and courage demonstrated by the regiment’s personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests during armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 394th Motor Rifle Regiment which henceforth shall be referred to as The 394th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment.
