On Russia Day, a ceremony for presenting the 2024 Russian Federation National Awards for achievements in science and technology, literature and the arts, and humanitarian activity will take place in the Grand Kremlin Palace. The President will present Hero of Labour gold medals, which are awarded for outstanding labour achievements, as well.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin will meet with participants in the Time of Heroes educational programme, carried out on the President's instruction by the Higher School of Public Administration of the Russian Presidential of National Academy and Public Administration and based at the Senezh management workshop.
The purpose of the programme is training participants in and veterans of the special military operation to become skilled and competent administrators to fill posts in federal and municipal authorities.
