The President endorsed the National Anti-corruption Plan for 2014–2015, which includes measures aimed, in particular, at improving the institutional framework for countering corruption in Russia’s federal constituent entities, ensuring the implementation of legislative acts in this area, and increasing anti-corruption awareness among the general public.
Corresponding instructions have been given to the Government, the Presidential Executive Office, the Presidential Council for Countering Corruption, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Investigative Committee, presidential plenipotentiaries to the federal districts, and regional governors.
Individual recommendations concerning the development of a set of organisational and educational measures in fighting corruption, building an uncompromising attitude toward corruption within society, and enhancing scientific developments in the field of countering corruption have been given to public organisations, political parties and research institutions.
