During a ceremonial event, Presidential Aide, Chairman of the Maritime Board Nikolai Patrushev underscored that the Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant is one of the leading and strategically important shipbuilding enterprises in the country. Over its 130-year history, the plant has built more than 1,500 maritime and river vessels of various classes and purposes.
The Maxim Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant has been awarded the Order for Valiant Labour by Executive Order of the President in recognition of its significant contribution to the development of domestic shipbuilding and its labour achievements.
On the same day, Nikolai Patrushev held a meeting on the implementation of state defence order by enterprises in the shipbuilding industry. Special attention was paid to pricing, ensuring serial production of ships, and improving the insurance system for orders under construction.
