Instructions following meeting with Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia

Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions following a meeting with members of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia on May 1, 2014.

Instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation, together with the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, concern interaction between federal executive agencies that conduct monitoring and supervision in labour and employment and corresponding executive agencies in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol; issues of labour migration and attracting foreign labour; and improving the new pension legislation as it concerns pension rights for agricultural workers.

The Russian Government, together with the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia and medical community representatives, has been instructed to explore the issue of workload standards for healthcare workers in order to improve their wage calculations.

The Transport Ministry, together with the Presidential Executive Office, relevant federal executive agencies, Russian airlines and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, has been instructed to create a working group to monitor the issues related to employment of Russian pilots by Russian airlines.

Instructions to the Economic Development Ministry and the Agriculture Ministry concern the transfer of land lots that are part of agricultural lands for use in housing construction.
