The message reads, in part:
“Eight years ago, the people of the Donetsk People’s Republic made a choice to become an independent state. Today, we are fighting together for the people in the republic to be able to enjoy their legitimate right to a free and peaceful life in keeping with their centuries-old cultural and spiritual traditions, and in friendship with brotherly Russia.
I am certain that together, we will overcome all the challenges and win.”
