In phone calls with Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov and Head of Daghestan Sergei Melikov, the President was briefed on the situation in the Republic following flooding caused by abnormal rainfall.
In order to provide assistance to the residents, the President gave the necessary instructions to all the relevant agencies.
In addition, Vladimir Putin gave an instruction to hold a meeting on April 7 with representatives of Daghestan, the Emergencies Ministry, and other federal agencies to discuss the situation in the region.
