Visiting the Severnaya Verf Shipyard in St Petersburg on December 25, Vladimir Putin took part
in the naval flag-raising ceremony on the Admiral Golovko frigate, the Naro-Fominsk
fast attack craft, and the Lev Chernavin minesweeper that were accepted into the Russian Navy. After the ceremony, the President listened to Defence Minister Sergei
Shoigu’s report on the course of the special military operation.
Later, the Supreme
Eurasian Economic Council met in the restricted and the expanded formats, which
were chaired by the President.
On the following day, the leaders of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent
States (CIS) had an informal meeting at the Constantine Palace.
Before the summit, the participants visited the open-air museums Pavlovsk,
Tsarskoye Sel and Peterhof. In addition, Vladimir Putin held separate bilateral
meetings with the heads of Kazakhstan
and Uzbekistan.
At the end of the second day, the President met with
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller.
