The amendments concern state environmental expert assessments on construction work in specially protected nature zones.
In particular, the amendments stipulate that if construction, reconstruction or capital repair of sites (including particularly hazardous, technically complex and unique installations and defence and security installations) is to be carried out in specially protected nature zones, the project documentation for the sites in question must undergo not only the ordinary state expert assessment but also a state environmental expert assessment.
The amendments also define the specific procedures for carrying out state environmental expert assessment, state expert assessments of project documentation, and state construction supervision during the construction, reconstruction or capital repair of the installations in question.
