The decree establishes the Presidential Council for Combating Corruption, with the President as its head.
The Council’s main tasks are to prepare proposals for the President on setting and implementing state anti-corruption policy, coordinate anti-corruption work by the executive authorities at the different levels, and monitor implementation of the measures set out in the National Anti-Corruption Plan.
The decree establishes a presidium within the Council to deal with day-to-day matters. The presidium is chaired by the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office.
The presidium’s chairman has been given a deadline of one month to prepare the draft National Anti-Corruption Plan.
