The instructions to the Russian Federation Government concern structural organisation of the rocket and space sector’s management system; construction of the Vostochny Space Launch Centre; establishment of a centralised system for purchasing imported electronic components that have no locally-produced equivalents; drafting of new state education standards for training qualified personnel for the rocket and space sector; and abolishing restrictions on public use of satellite images with a resolution level of less than 1 metre.
Roskosmos Federal Space Agency has been instructed to publish on its official website the Foundations of the Russian Federation’s Space Sector Policy for the Period through to 2030 and Beyond, which were approved by the President.
The Governor of Amur Region has been advised to carry out the necessary procedures for giving the name of Tsiolkovsky to the town currently under construction for future personnel at the Vostochny Space Launch Centre.
