Chairman of the International Olympic Committee Coordination Commission Jean Claude Killy and IOC Executive Director Gilbert Felli will also take part in the official events.
The Russian International Olympic University was founded on October 21, 2009, in accordance with Government Instruction No. 774, in order to train a new generation of managers for the Russian and global Olympic movement and sports industry.
Mr Putin will also visit the main Olympics and Paralympics operations centre, where Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak will brief the President and the IOC members on the results of the large-scale inter-agency training exercises that were held as part of preparations for the XXII Winter Olympics and XI Winter Paralympics in Sochi in 2014.
