Russia’s Teacher of the Year contest has been held since 1992. It was established by the Ministry of Education and Science, Russia’s Trade Union of Education, and the Educators’ Newspaper. Representatives of educational institutions from all federal districts participated in the competition.
15 winners of this year’s contest include teachers of Russian and English languages, computer science, history, physical education, physics, and elementary school teachers.
The President’s meeting with the contest winners is already a tradition, and it will take place in an informal setting, over a cup of tea.
