The Government, together with the Board of the Presidential Council for Science and Education and the Russian Academy of Sciences, has been instructed to draft a list of priority scientific objectives that will require use of the federal centres for collective use of scientific equipment.
The instructions sent to the Government also concern setting up the federal centres and selecting research projects that will serve as the basis for establishing medium-term (up to 5 years) research programmes carried out at the federal centres and financed by federal budget funds.
The Government has also been instructed to include provisions in the 2013–2020 Developing Science and Technology state programme for buying new equipment for the federal centres, financing research programmes, and monitoring their results.
