In a message of congratulations, Mr Putin assessed very positively Kazakhstan’s achievements in developing its society, economy, science and technology, and noted the country’s growing international influence.
The President said that relations between the two countries have been developing well in a spirit of strategic partnership, and expressed confidence that the recently signed Agreement on Good-Neighbourliness and Alliance in the 21st Century will provide the foundation upon which Russia and Kazakhstan will continue to build up mutually advantageous relations in all areas in the interests of both countries’ peoples and in line with the increasingly rapid integration taking place within the Customs Union, Common Economic Space, CIS and other multilateral organisations on the Eurasian continent.
