The Presidents of Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia discussed matters related to inter-state relations and exchanged views on key regional issues.
President Putin pointed to the importance of regular contacts between the leaders of the Caucasian states and thanked the others for finding the Kiev meeting worthwhile. In the Russian President’s view, such consultations were particularly important for the Caucasus because they concerned such pressing issues as the fight against terrorism, law and order, strengthening the sovereignty of all countries, and conflict resolution.
