Vladimir Putin said that the events of the last few days in Iraq, especially those involving the death of civilians, confirmed the soundness of Russia’s position of consistently advocating a peaceful settlement of the Iraqi problem.
The war in Iraq has a negative effect on the overwhelming majority of countries, including Russia. The President answered questions on the development of the medical insurance system, the rise in fuel prices, measures to combat drug trafficking, land relations, support for the agricultural sector, pension schemes and the payment of wage arrears.
