The credentials ceremony took place in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
The Russian president received credentials from Liu Guchang, the Ambassador of China, Krymbek Kusherbayev of Kazakhstan, Assem Jaber of Lebanon, Mohamed Ali al-Osaimi of the United Arab Emirates, Abdulwahab Mohammed Ali ab-Rawhani of Yemen, Bozo Kovacevic of Croatia and Milan Rocen of Serbia and Montenegro.
