The amendments are in part linked with the reorganisation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. In its place, there are now two departments – the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications.
The newly formed Ministry of Information Technology and Communications is headed by Leonid Reiman. Otherwise, the personnel of the cabinet of ministers remains the same.
The decree ”Issues of the structure of federal bodies of executive power“, introduced amendments which also concerned a number of federal services and federal agencies.
