President Putin discussed measures with Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, Minister for Finance Alexei Kudrin and the Head of the Central Bank Sergei Ignat’ev to stabilize the situation in the banking sphere, including the bill passed by the State Duma “On payment by the bank of Russia on individuals’ deposits in banks subject to bankruptcy that are not part of the system of obligatory insurance of individuals’ deposits in banks of the Russian Federation”.
