The head of state praised the courage of the late president of the Chechen Republic. In particular, he noted that Akhmat Kadyrov had had one goal: to serve his people. He chose a difficult path to accomplish this objective, but was always an honest man. Vladimir Putin called for Akhmat Kadyrov’s plans to be implemented for the good of the Chechen people, for the good of everyone who lives in the republic, who sees it as their homeland, and for the good of Russia.
In addition to President Putin, Alu Alkhanov, the head of the Public Council for Control over the Restoration of the Economy and Social Sphere, and Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen Republic’s first deputy prime minister, also laid flowers at Akhmat Kadyrov’s grave.
