Mr Sharon said that all Israeli citizens were shocked by the series of terrorist acts in Russia, particularly the unprecedentedly brutal act of international terrorism in North Ossetia. Prime Minister Sharon expressed his profound condolences to the families of the dead, and his sympathy and wishes for all injured people to recover soon. He said that Israel was prepared to provide all necessary practical help.
Mr Putin expressed his gratitude for the condolences and support.
Both sides stressed that combining efforts in the war on terrorism should be imperative for the whole world.
