As part of their practice of regular dialogue, the leaders of two countries discussed relevant issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects of further high-level contacts.
In particular, Mr Putin and Mr Blair discussed issues on preparing the G8 Summit (scheduled to take place in July 2005 in the UK) as well as forthcoming Russia’s chairmanship of the G-8 in 2006.
The Russian President and the British Prime Minister also exchanged opinions and assessments on different international problems.
