Today's Russia offers the opportunity of noticeably increasing the well-being of Russia's people. To achieve this, it is not necessary to disturb the balance of basic economic parameters, nor to suffer from inflation. For this reason, the opportunities that Russia's economy presently offers should not be missed.
The President declared that it was necessary to concentrate on concrete steps towards implementing priority national projects in areas such as healthcare, education and accommodation. It is precisely these areas that determine people's quality of life, and the state of a society's health. Ultimately, the solutions to these problems directly influence a country's demographics and, most importantly, create the necessary conditions for development.
Focussing budgetary and administrative resources on improving Russian citizens' quality of life is both necessary and logical for economic development that has already taken place, and that will continue in the future.
Significant sums from the governmental budget will be allocated to social programmes. The President emphasised that this is an investment into the person.
