Meeting with the Cabinet, Mr Putin issued a number of instructions concerning the blasts at the gas and electricity facilities that took place on January 22 and said that work must be carried out rapidly to restore energy supply to the regions affected by the explosions that took place at the North-Caucasus-Trans-Caucasus gas pipeline and the Kavkasioni electricity transmission facility.
The relevant instructions were also issued to the Cabinet, Gazprom and RAO Unified Energy Systems (UES).
The Interior Ministry is to provide assistance to the Prosecutor’s Office in investigating the explosions if needed.
