The talks between Vladimir Putin and the President of Mongolia, Nambaryn Enkhbayar, concluded with the signature of the Moscow Declaration. The presidents also witnessed the signing of a number of other agreements that will allow Russian-Mongolian cooperation to reach a new level.
The parties reached agreements on expanding cooperation in the mining industry, electrical energy, transport, agriculture, finance and investment, as well as in the military, technical, educational and cultural spheres.
The new agreement on Russian-Mongolian border rules and procedures that the two presidents signed today will act as an additional stimulus for bilateral business contacts. As Vladimir Putin said following the talks, this document seeks to reduce to a minimum the barriers in the way of border cooperation and will help ensure the development of interregional relations.
