At Mr Kasyanov’s suggestion, some changes were made in the Government’s structure.
The Ministry for Federation Affairs and National and Migration Policies was abolished by a presidential decree and its functions were distributed among the Interior Ministry, the Foreign Ministry and the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.
It was also stipulated that the Prime Minister should have five deputies, among them the Minister of Industry, Science and Technologies, the Minister of Agriculture and the Finance Minister.
