The meeting took place in the country house of the festival’s president, Nikita Mikhalkov. Mr Putin enjoyed a cup of tea with leading actors from Russia and abroad, including Jack Nicholson, Lara Flynn Boyle, Sean Penn, Miklos Jancso, Peta Wilson, Andrei Konchalovsky, Oleg Menshikov and Ingeborga Dapkunaite.
