The message reads in particular:
“From year to year the friendly Tajik people are making confident progress towards strengthening their statehood and achieving sustainable social and economic development.
The alliance between our countries, based on the principles of strategic partnership, is developing rapidly, as is reflected by our substantial political dialogue and our mutual interest in expanding trade and economic cooperation and pursuing large-scale projects in the energy sector. I particularly wish to note our countries’ productive work together on the international stage, above all in the regional integration organisations – the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Eurasian Economic Community and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
I am convinced that a policy of more intensive all-round cooperation is in the genuine interests of our peoples and will continue to help strengthen stability in Central Asia”.
