Today, the FSB Border Service has a number of crucially important tasks. We need to harness the latest technologies in the field of border security, and continue to equip divisions with modern weapons and means of supervision. This will allow us to deal more effectively with threats like international terrorism, transnational crime and drug trafficking.
I am confident that you will continue to honourably stand guard over Russia's national borders and enable its citizens to live in peace.”
