At a meeting in the Government House, President Vladimir Putin announced that the composition and the structure of the Government had changed. In particular, two new ministries, Youth and Fisheries, have been created.
As a result of the reorganisation of the cabinet, Elvira Nabiullina will be in charge of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Tatiana Golikova, the Ministry of Health and Social Development, and Dmitrii Kozak, the Ministry of Regional Development.
Sergei Ivanov and Dmitrii Medvedev will stay on as first Deputy Prime Ministers; Sergei Naryshkin, and Alexander Zhukov keep their posts of Deputy Prime Minister. Alexei Kudrin will carry on as Minister of Finance and also becomes a Deputy Prime Minister.
Other cabinet ministers retained their positions.
