The Korean President told Vladimir Putin about the outcome of the second inter-Korean summit, held in Pyongyang on 2–4 October 2007.
President Putin praised the talks that took place and expressed his hope that a productive inter-Korean dialogue will continue. He reiterated Russia's readiness to continue to provide Roh Moo-hyun with all necessary assistance, including by participating in joint economic and transport projects.
The heads of state expressed their satisfaction with the outcome of the recent round of six-party talks on the nuclear issue in the Korean Peninsula.
During the conversation they also discussed topical cooperation issues relating to their countries' bilateral relations.
