“The Non-Aligned Movement unites more than one half of the world’s countries, including some of the fastest-growing nations, and makes a significant contribution to strengthening trust and stability at the global level.
Time has proven the wisdom of the goal the movement set at its inception decades before, namely, to free global politics from the grip of ideologies, affirming instead lofty humanistic ideals. It is my conviction that this is a solid foundation on which to build a modern system of international relations that respects each people’s right to its own development path and diversity of cultures and history.
Russia is unswerving in carrying out a balanced foreign policy that seeks to build common security for all without dividing lines. We are ready to develop our cooperation with the Non-Aligned Movement in the interests of peace and prosperity and for the good of entire humankind.”
