The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Your meetings have already become a big and important event in our two countries’ lives. The event is building up its potential every year and attracting the attention of scholars, public figures, and people from the creative communities in many parts of Russia and Finland. Our countries are not just good and close neighbours but also share common pages of history and longstanding traditions of cultural cooperation that we both genuinely value. We need to continue developing this open dialogue that responds to today’s reality, enrich it with new ideas and initiatives, and involve active and talented young people in this work.
I am sure that this forum, which is taking place in Novgorod, will give the participants an excellent opportunity to discuss a broad range of professional issues and give the green light to many interesting and needed projects. It will help to strengthen multifaceted cooperation between our peoples and countries.”
