In his greetings to the members of the Business Council, President Vladimir Putin noted that the council’s founding will help consolidate the efforts of the SCO member countries’ business communities to develop effective work together. Mr Putin named energy, investment and production as promising areas for cooperation.
Russia will provide comprehensive support for the work of the Business Council, the secretariat of which will be located in Moscow, and this places particular responsibility on Russia’s own business organisations, Mr Putin said.
