The message reads, in part:
“Russia is rightfully proud of the history of its hydro aviation construction and of the names of its outstanding researchers, designers and test pilots. Your exhibition carries on the rich professional traditions of the industry, bringing together leading experts from all over the world and presenting the latest in engineering, technologies and services.
It is important that the largely upgraded programme of the anniversary Hydroaviasalon creates conditions for a broad expert dialogue, exchange of good practice and a discussion of the entire range of current issues pertaining to the development of hydro aviation, which has a great future.
One promising area is the use of hydro aviation in environmental and nature preservation projects and the rational use of mineral, biological and energy resources of the World Ocean.
I am certain that the exhibition will help strengthen the innovative potential of national hydro-aviation construction, the development of international cooperation and the promotion of national produce.”
The Hydroaviasalon 2014 is taking place in Gelendzhik (Krasnodar Territory) on the Black Sea coast, on September 4–7.
The International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Hydro Aviation Hydroaviasalon has been held every even year since 1996, alternating with the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS).
