More than 600 people will take part in the discussion on Russia’s healthcare system at the Krasnaya Presnya Expo Centre in Moscow. They include regional ONF activists, members of the Russian Government and heads of federal agencies, healthcare sector experts, scientists, practising doctors, and medical school teachers. Representatives of public organisations, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and Russian medical equipment manufacturers have also been invited.
The participants will discuss solutions to the healthcare system’s main problems before the plenary session, working in five thematic groups – affordable and quality medical care, the training system for medical personnel, provision of medicines and equipment, children’s healthcare, and the economy and healthcare system management.
The results of this brain-storming effort will be set out as proposals that will be discussed at the session with Mr Putin taking part.
Before the session begins, the President will visit the forum’s exhibition, which presents the latest developments in medicine and healthcare in Russia.
