Mohammed Al Nahyan expressed condolences once again on behalf of the UAE leadership and people following the barbaric terrorist attack that caused the crash of a Russian passenger plane in Egypt, and said that the UAE is ready to provide the necessary assistance to catch and bring to justice those responsible for this tragedy.
The two leaders stressed the importance of consolidating the international community’s efforts to fight international terrorism effectively. Mr Putin informed the Crown Prince in detail on various aspects of Russia’s action to unblock the Syrian crisis, including the concrete results achieved by the Russian Aerospace Forces in their operations against Islamic State and other radical groups. The two leaders agreed to continue close contacts through the relevant agencies and coordinate their steps to implement the results of the International Syria Support Group’s meeting in Vienna.
Following on from the agreements reached at bilateral talks on October 11 in Sochi, the two leaders also exchanged views on intensifying cooperation between Russia and the United Arab Emirates in various areas.
