The meeting’s agenda includes current matters regarding Russian-UAE relations, including implementation of earlier agreements, particularly in trade, the economy and investment, and will outline concrete guidelines for developing the full range of bilateral cooperation.
The two leaders will also have a substantial exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, with particular focus on Syria in light of the Russian-US agreement on a ceasefire and Mr Putin’s decision to withdraw the bulk of Russia’s forces from Syria.
