Vladimir Putin updated Francois Hollande as the head of the co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh, which also includes Russia and the United States, about the results of the trilateral meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in St Petersburg on June 20, 2016.
The leaders of Russia and France expressed hope that the results achieved at that meeting would accelerate the peace process. They also agreed to continue working together on this crucial issue within the OSCE Minsk Group.
Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande discussed other current issues on the international agenda, focusing on the efforts to settle the crisis in Ukraine.
Francois Hollande told Vladimir Putin about the EU discussions on the results of the UK referendum.
