The Federal Law ratifies the Convention Concerning Prevention and Control of Occupational Hazards caused by Carcinogenic Substances and Agents (No. 139), which was adopted on June 24, 1974 at the 59th Session of the General Conference of the International Labour Organisation in Geneva.
The Convention sets out requirements regarding the protection of workers against the risks of exposure to carcinogenic substances or agents and control over the use of carcinogenic substances and agents.
