Leading political scientists, journalists and experts from the United States, Britain, France, China, Japan and other countries asked the President numerous questions on the most topical issues of international and domestic policies of Russia.
In his answers, Dmitry Medvedev, in particular, assessed Russia's efforts to mitigate the effects of the global financial crisis, talked about the reasons for his address to the President of Ukraine and the prospects of Russian-Ukrainian relations, commented on the situation in the Caucasus, and shared his impressions of the Modern State and Global Security International Conference that took place in Yaroslavl on September 14, 2009, as well as his expectations of his forthcoming visit to the United States.
