The President examined technologies used by Uralkali, the supplier of up to 20 percent of fertilisers in the world. Vladimir Putin also inspected the water installation called Energy of the Arctic replicating the Northern Sea Route with mock-ups of new generation icebreakers, and also showed interest in the installation devoted to the Amur tiger.
The President was updated on new projects of the state corporation Rosatom, in particular, the construction of nuclear icebreakers. The final stop on his tour of the Russian pavilion was Tatarstan’s display. As Vladimir Putin was told, Russian regions’ displays will be replaced weekly, presenting the latest technologies at Astana EXPO 2017.
