The message reads, in part:
“St Petersburg, Russia’s northern capital, is a recognised national shipbuilding centre. This city is famous for its unique port infrastructure, prominent research and design schools, major manufacturing facilities and shipyards. It is not by chance that one of the largest maritime defence forums is held in St Petersburg.
For many years, the International Maritime Defence Show has provided a formidable networking platform for experts from various countries on a wide range of issues related to military technical cooperation and international collaboration with a view to promoting Russian military goods on global markets.
I strongly believe that industry professionals and guests will be interested by this year’s Maritime Defence Show. Most importantly, it can help Russian manufacturers attract foreign investment and secure promising new orders.”
The International Maritime Defence Show is taking place in St Petersburg between June 28 and July 2, bringing together more than 400 Russian and foreign companies and organisations.
