The message reads, in part:
“As always, the congress brings together business leaders, leading experts and government officials, serving as a high-profile business platform. You are about to discuss the main issues the Russian financial system is facing, outline key trends and development prospects. Today, stability and national economic growth depend to a large extent on an effective financial and monetary policy, and so does the prosperity of millions of people in our country.
Ensuring that the banking industry is resilient, consistently reducing inflation and enacting effective consumer rights protection is essential, since it creates new investment and business opportunities. Of course, there is also a need to introduce cutting-edge technology that would be up to global standards in order to enhance the competitiveness of the Russian financial sector and make it better accessible for people and businesses.
Let me note that this year, in the run-up to the congress, a Summer Macro-Economic School was held for young Russian researchers and economists. I strongly believe that this initiative will yield tangible results by helping young professionals succeed.”
