The message reads, in part:
“Over the past years, you have achieved significant results in this serious and important work. You have made a great effort to ensure reliable and timely delivery of official correspondence between the CIS top officials and international documents of prime importance.
Today the courier service workers’ professionalism, expertise and responsible approach to their duties contribute to improved communication and dynamic development of the integration processes within the Commonwealth.
I am certain that you will continue your honest and hard work and successfully meet your targets for the benefit of our countries and peoples.”
The Intergovernmental Courier Service was established based on the departments of the state courier services of the states that joined the respective Agreement signed on January 22, 1993, in Minsk. The service is responsible for delivering official correspondence between the heads of state and government, government bodies and public agencies in the member states, and delivery of official correspondence between the CIS bodies.
