During the summit the participants will sum up the results of cooperation in 2018 and discuss key areas of CIS future development. They will pay special attention to the preparations for the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War to be marked in 2020.
Following the meeting the participants will sign a number of multilateral documents on deepening cooperation in the humanitarian, law enforcement and military areas. They will also make some organisational decisions, in part on Turkmenistan’s Chairmanship in the CIS in 2019.
Vladimir Putin will hold a number of bilateral meetings with leaders of the CIS countries on the summit’s sidelines.
